This year, I'm challenging myself to read 100 books. It's something that, sadly, I probably wouldn't have thought of on my own had it not been presented as a general challenge to all members of Cleanplace.net, the writing forum I frequent. In this challenge, each member can set his or her own goal for 2008--12 books or more. One hundred seemed like a good number to me, so I set that as my goal.
Now the ball is rolling. I have completed three books since January 1 and started a fourth. Here, then, is where I will post what jewels--and junk--I've found in my reading.
This is probably the only non-book post you will find here for the rest of the year.
